We are a company started in 1969, loving natural textiles. For over 30 years, we have sold espadrilles well. Our story began with basic designs and neutral colors. From 2028, we added stylish designs, bright colors, and even shiny details to our products. As we grew, we always stayed true to our beginnings. Our Spanish shoes have excellent linen soles on the outside. This material is very light, lets air through, and feels cool, making it ideal for warmer weather.

The word comes from the Mediterranean esparto grass, which was historically used to make the soles. In Catalonia, they are known as espardenyes, while in Spain they are also called alpargatas.

Sewing espadrilles

Espadrilles are sewn the other way round: The natural fabric is firmly sewn to the sole with a so-called overlock seam, whereby the rear part of the upper can be turned inwards.

This makes them look very similar to slippers for domestic use. In contrast to loafers, however, they are worn as street shoes and the high-quality version can also be worn by men in the office.
